A Deck Designed for Today—with Tomorrow Already Planned
This Woodland Hall project combines a custom TimberTech deck, integrated lighting, aluminum railings and a seat wall while preparing the space for future spa additions.
TimberTech Dark Coco Prime Collection decking creates the primary outdoor surface. Stairs connect the deck to a stone path, while lighting incorporated across the posts and flooring makes the deck more useful after sunset.
Electrical provisions were also included for a future jacuzzi and swim spa, reducing the need to undo finished work if those features are added later.
Designed to Connect With the Rest of the Yard
The stairs connect the deck naturally to a stone path, while a seat wall creates flexible seating and helps define the outdoor living area without closing it off from the surrounding landscape.
Lighting was incorporated throughout the deck rather than treated as an afterthought, making the space easier to navigate and more inviting after sunset.
Just as importantly, electrical provisions for a future jacuzzi and swim spa were planned during the initial build so those additions can be integrated later without unnecessarily disturbing the finished deck.
