Wyandot Run Elementary Butterfly Garden
A fully sponsored outdoor learning garden created to give third-grade students a hands-on way to explore plants, pollinators, science and ecology.
Helping Create an Outdoor Classroom for Young Learners
Flores Landscaping & Patio fully sponsored the Butterfly Garden project for third-grade students at Wyandot Run Elementary School in Delaware.
The garden was created as a hands-on learning environment where students can explore plants, butterflies, pollinators, nature and ecology outside the traditional classroom.
For Flores, projects like this are an opportunity to use our resources to support the Central Ohio communities where our team lives and works.
Central Ohio Is More Than Our Service Area
It's home. Projects like the Wyandot Run Butterfly Garden give us an opportunity to use our resources to support the schools, neighborhoods and organizations that strengthen the communities around us.
This garden creates a place where students can learn by observing nature directly—seeing how plants, butterflies and other pollinators interact as part of a living ecosystem.
We're proud that the finished space can continue serving students and teachers long after the initial project was completed.
